Why to use. Easy, streamlined donations for federal and many state politicians. Will not sell donor information or add donors to solicitation lists.
Skip if. you already have the campaign’s ActBlue or WinRed form.
Weakness. Not the high-volume fundraising site. Donations are still reported to the FEC.
Verdict
ActBlue and WinRed are the usual fundraising sites, one per party. That is not close on volume. Anedot is the usual processor when the race is on neither. Power Players is the strongest option for finding officials in any party and donating without a solicitation list.
OpenSecrets and FollowTheMoney show who already gave. They are not donation forms.
